About the photograph
This photograph was taken on Rivington Street in the Lower East Side of New York. I had just gone through some difficult personal times and this dog was almost like a ghost, a representation of fear and doubt, seen from a safe perspective (standing behind a fence).
Today, I look at the image with enthusiasm, I especially like the fact that the dog is almost part of the fence. Somehow, it’s almost like a photograph of the blind spots in your life.
